9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Michele’s Ride to Remember Bike Tour

Michele’s Ride to Remember Bike Tour will ride from Buffalo to Seaford, NY from Saturday, July 30, 2016 to Saturday, August 6, 2016. The purpose of the ride is to raise money for the Seaford High School 9/11 Memorial Fund, Inc., and to honor and remember those killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11, as well as the military personnel who have been killed since the attacks.
The journey will begin at 1 Naval Park Cove, Buffalo, NY; concluding at Seaford High School in Seaford, NY. Stops along the way will include the WNY Iraq/Afghanistan War Memorial, the Brockport 9/11 Memorial, the new 1 World Trade Center (“the Freedom Tower”), the Towers of Freedom 9/11 Military Monument and the Seaford 9/11 Memorial at Seaford High School.
Proceeds raised from the ride will benefit the SHS 9/11 Memorial Fund, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation established to honor the memory of five Seaford High School graduates killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center: FF Timothy Haskell (FDNY), BC Thomas Haskell (FDNY), Police Officer John Perry (NYPD), Robert Sliwak (Cantor Fitzgerald), and Michael Wittenstein (Cantor Fitzgerald).
