9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Michael Arthur Clarke Memorial Scholarship is currently accepting applications from seniors interested in journalism who plan to graduate from high school next spring.
Clarke Scholarships are awarded to students interested in studying the fields of English, journalism, or the media.
Michael Arthur Clarke was a successful television cameraman who shot footage at the World Trade Center site after the 9/11 terrorist attacks and of the crash of AA Flight 587 in Queens in November 2001. He was murdered at the age of 28 in 2002.
