9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial service – Naperville, IL
September 11, 2014 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
A memorial service will take place at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at the Cmdr. Dan Shanower Memorial.
The Naperville carillon bells will toll at 5:30pm and patriotic music will be performed at 5:45pm.
The featured speaker will be NYPD Detective (ret.) Brian Hastings who will discuss his experiences during rescue and recovery operations at the World Trade Center site after the attacks.
