9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Day Flag-Raising and Service – Naperville, IL

At 7:45am on Monday, May 28, 2018, there will be a Memorial Day flag-raising and service at the 9/11 Commander Dan Shanower Memorial. Taps will be played and there will be a volley.
Commander Dan Shanower was killed in the line of duty during the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 while serving at the Pentagon. He was 40.
