9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Ceremony, Montgomery, NY

The community is invited to attend the September 11th ceremony which will be held at the Orange County Arboretum at Thomas Bull Memorial Park on the twelfth anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks at 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
The ceremony will honor the memory of the 44 Orange County residents who were murdered in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and will also pay tribute to our military personnel who serve our country.
Family members of victims and survivors of the attacks, families of local military personnel and veterans are invited to participate in the remembrance ceremony and join the procession by assembling at the Arboretum’s Ottaway Education Center at 4:30pm.
Honor guards will guide the procession along the Remembrance Walkway.There will be music from a member of the West Point Band, a 21-gun salute and a release of doves.This year’s guest speaker will be Edie McCoy Meeks, a combat surgical nurse and Vietnam veteran.
William J. Bratton, Jr., who lost his 23-year-old daughter Michelle, at Cantor Fitzgerald, will represent victims’ families and read the names of those killed on September 11th. The names of local military personnel killed in action will also be read.
Following the ceremony a Peace through Music concert featuring the Otisville Brass will be held in the raised gardens of the Arboretum.
