9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Ceremony

The Hicksville Fire Department will commemorate the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at 11:00am, at the Strong Street Fire Station memorial. The memorial was erected in memory of FDNY Firefighter Terrence Farrell PO George Howard of the PAPD, both of whom served at Hicksville, and all Hicksville residents who were murdered in the attacks.
