9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial ceremony – Hempstead, NY

In honor of the 13th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Town of Hempstead will hold Long Island’s largest September 11th memorial ceremony at 7:30am on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Point Lookout Beach.
