Mayo Clinic Webinar: “Adult Brain Tumors: From Diagnosis to Recovery”

On Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 1:00pm ET, the Mayo Clinic will host an interactive webinar entitled, Adult Brain Tumors: From Diagnosis to Recovery. A number of World Trade Center recovery workers have been afflicted with brain cancer due to their work at the site.
In this live, interactive webinar, Mayo Clinic neurosurgeon Ian Parney, MD, PhD, and neurologist Alyx Porter, MD, will discuss the diagnosis, management, treatment and recovery associated with adult brain tumors. Topics will include management and treatment options, such as surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and clinical trials, as well as recovery and quality of life. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
