9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lt. Robert “Pudgie” Walsh Street Renaming

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 12:00 noon, a street renaming ceremony will be held in honor of FDNY Lt. Robert “Pudgie” Walsh, formerly of Ladder 108, who died last year at the age of 82.
Pudgie was the founder and long-time head coach of the Bravest Football Club, long time head coach of the Brooklyn Mariner Football Club. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Attire for the event is casual.
