9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lt. Howard Carpluk – FF Michael Reilly “Brothers in Battle” Memorial 5-K Run

$30.00The annual Lt. Howard Carpluk/FF Michael Reilly “Brothers in Battle” 5-K memorial run will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Orchard Beach, Bronx, NY.
Registration will begin at 10:00am, and the race will start at 11:00am. Food and drink will be available after the run.
The fee to run is $30.00. All proceeds will support the Howard Carpluk Memorial Fund and the Michael C. Reilly Scholarship Fund.
Lt. Carpluk and FF Reilly were killed in the line of duty at a fire on August 27, 2007. Firefighter Reilly, 25, an Iraq veteran with the US Marines and a probationary firefighter, died on the scene and Lt. Carpluk, 43, succumbed to his injuries the next day.
