9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Long Island 9/11 Midnight Ride to Ground Zero – Long Island to Manhattan

On the evening of Saturday, September 10, 2016, the annual Long Island 9/11 Midnight Ride will ride motorcycles from Long Island City to the World Trade Center.
The ride is police escorted.
The meeting point for riders from the east will be at the Exxon Station on Edwards Avenue right before the ramp for exit 71 heading onto the LIE at 7:30pm. Kickstands up by 8:00pm.
Riders from the west can join the ride at Cumberland right off exit 43 of the LIE (200 South Oyster Bay Road, Syosset, NY 11791). The riders will be leaving there around 9:00pm.
The goal is to park in Long Island City at around 10:00pm. The ride to the World Trade Center takes off around 11:00pm and ends up in the Memorial Field in Battery Park.
