9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Lives of Service: Celebrating the Heroes of September 11th” Volunteer firefighters of Long Island

In honor of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, Nassau County Firefighters’ Museum & Education Center will offer free admission on Friday, September 11, 2015.
The Museum is holding an exhibit entitled, Lives of Service: Celebrating the Heroes of September 11th. This exhibit features those Nassau County volunteer firefighters who were killed in the attacks.
