9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Light the Shore Staten Island

On the second anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, Wednesday, October 29, 2014, Staten Island Long-Term Recovery Organization will host several remembrance events.
At 4:00pm, there will be a Resiliency Walk on the Boardwalk at Sand Avenue and Father Capodanno Boulevard by Dolphins, followed by a community supper at the picnic area at Lincoln and Midland Avenues.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at the same picnic area at 6:30pm. After the service, at 7:45pm, a candlelight vigil will take place there and all over Staten Island on the waterfront.
