9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Let It Shine: Lighting a Candle for Unity” candlelight vigil for peace and unity

On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 3:00pm, join the Cathedral of St. John the Divine for Let It Shine: Lighting a Candle for Unity on the front steps of the Cathedral.
All are invited to light a candle in support of our common humanity and fellowship, joining together to chase away the shadows of fear and prejudice and illuminate our path toward a better union.
At 5:15, Cathedral clergy will lead participants in a brief prayer for the health of the nation. Bells will toll (at St. John’s and other churches) to remember those we have lost in the past year’s tragedies.
