9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Laughter Saves Lives Benefit for Multiple Charities, including Fight for Firefighters and the Terry Farrell Foundation

Laughter Saves Lives is holding a comedy benefit at the Governors’ Comedy Club in Levittown, NY on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:30pm.
Featured comics will include John Butera, Les Degen, Meghan Hanley, John Larocchia, and John Ziegler.
Tickets cost $20.00 in advance or $25.00 at the door. Advance tickets are available here. There is also a 2-item food or drink minimum per person. Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be sold during the evening.
Charities that will benefit from the event include Fight for Firefighters, which builds ramps for disabled firefighters and others; the Heather Prendergast Fund, which helps volunteer firefighter families cope with serious illnesses; General Needs Ltd., which gives needed supplies to homeless veterans; and the Terry Farrell Foundation, which helps volunteer fire departments with equipment in the name of FDNY Captain Terry Farrell who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Laughter Saves Lives was started by John Larocchia, a retired FDNY firefighter, to honor the colleagues and friends he lost on September 11, 2001. The comedy shows they run help a variety of worthy causes.
