9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Lacrosse for NYPD and FDNY Widows and Children

The New York Lizards’ 2014 Heroes Day will take place on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Hofstra University in Hempstead. Every ticket purchased helps raise funds for the PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund and the Thomas R. Elsasser Fund (a fund for the dependents of firefighters who die from causes other than falling in the line of duty).
There will be fireworks after the final game.
All team members are either members of the military or police officers and firefighters.
Ticket prices range from $10.50 to $75.00. Tickets can be purchased here.
