9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Kites for a Cure

The 7th annual “Kites for a Cure” will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Cooper’s Beach in Southampton to raise money for the charity Uniting against Lung Cancer.
Last year’s event raised more than $60,000 to help fund lung cancer research.
A donation of $30.00 entitles the donor to one kite. The kite can be decorated on site and is then flown over the water. A “Family of Flyers” donation of $300.00 will admit a family of five.
