9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Kenneth Feinberg will speak on the topic Unconventional Responses to Unique Catastrophes: Tailoring Mediation to Meet the Challenges at the Ashville Mediation Center’s Speak Your Peace luncheon on Monday, May 11, 2015 at noon.
Feinberg is the attorney who served as special master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund after the terrorist attacks of 2001, and served in a similar capacity after many other tragedies – from Agent Orange and the Boston Marathon bombing, to the GE ignition switch program.
