Keith Schmidlapp Bowling Fundraiser
February 29, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The first annual Keith Schmidlapp Bowling Fundraiser will take place at Farmingdale Lanes on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 5:00pm for an afternoon of bowling, food, fun, 50/50, and raffle baskets.
Keith, 43, died in 2018 of 9/11-related lung disease, leaving three sons and his wife, Julie. Keith was very family-oriented, so Julie chose a fun family activity to celebrate his life. February 29, 2020 will be the day before the second anniversary of his death. Event information did not say whether he was a survivor of the attacks, a recovery worker, or a resident of Lower Manhattan.
Tickets to bowl cost $30.00 per person or $120 for a four-person team. If you’d like to attend, but not bowl, the fee is $15.00. Net proceeds from the event will go to Camp Good Mourning, a nonprofit bereavement camp for Long Island children coping with the death of a parent and/or sibling. Some lane sponsorships are still available.
