9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Keane Foundation Kids’ Vacation Day – Wethersfield, CT

The next Keane Foundation Kids’ Vacation Day will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019. The day begins with toddlers’ activities like tunnel or parachute games. 4-7-year-olds move on to freeze tag, kick ball and basketball, and kids aged 8 and older can use the computer room, play dodge ball, street hockey, and basketball.
Flyers will be distributed through the schools and information will be available in the Parks and Recreation brochures, as well as on their website when the fall brochure is available.
The fee is $1.00 per child, and additional donations are welcome. Registration is required! Get the form for the December 27 vacation day now.
The Keane Foundation was established to create a 9/11 Memorial Sports Center in the Wethersfield community in honor of Richard Keane, who was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
