9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Keane Foundation Family Picnic of Remembrance – Wethersfield, CT

The Keane Foundation Family Picnic will be held on the Wethersfield Broad Street Green on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. There will be no rain date. The annual Keane Foundation Family Picnic is free, and allows the community to be with friends and family, and to remember the residents of Wethersfield who were killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
Please bring your own blanket, tables, chairs, and picnic supper.
There will be music on the green by Prelude, who are back by popular demand.
Donations are welcome and will benefit the Keane Foundation’s 9/11 Memorial Sports Center.
The Keane Foundation honors the memory of Richard M. “Dick” Keane, who was killed while on a business trip at Marsh & McLennan’s offices in the World Trade Center. The foundation runs events for Dick’s beloved Wethersfield and the 9/11 Memorial Sports Center for children.
