9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Joseph Maffeo Foundation Casino Night

The annual Joseph Maffeo Foundation Casino Night will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017, from 7:30pm until 11:30pm at Nicotra’s Ballroom in Staten Island.
The evening features an elegant buffet dinner, open bar and the famous gaming tables: blackjack, roulette, craps, let it ride, a money wheel and a Texas Hold’em tournament. A silent auction of collectibles & memorabilia will be held and the 50/50 big bucks raffle. The 13th annual Staten Island Angel Award will be given to Laura Wenzel.
Admission costs $150.00 per ticket. Ticket sales close on February 10, 2017. Every ticket purchase includes $50.00 worth of gaming chips. Funds raised support the Joseph Maffeo Foundation, which is building the Joseph Maffeo Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Staten Island University Hospital – Northwell Health, after helping the hospital in a variety of other ways.

Joseph Maffeo was a firefighter with Brooklyn’s Ladder Company 101. Father of a small son and devoted family man, he was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
