Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Joseph Grzelak Memorial Scholarship Bowl-a-thon

The fourteenth annual Joseph Grzelak Memorial Scholarship Bowl-a-thon will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Rab’s County Lanes in Staten Island.
A few spaces are still available if you reserve before noon on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Prices begin at $50.00 for a non-bowler ticket. There is a variety of packages and prices, including a family of four discount for two adults and two children. All proceeds benefit the Joseph Grzelak Memorial Fund.
Battalion Chief Joseph Grzelak’s nickname was “Joe Knows” because of his tremendous knowledge of matters both on the fireground and off it. Because of his belief in the power and importance of knowledge, the Joseph Grzelak Memorial Fund benefits the children of FDNY members entering college.
