9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation Caring Hearts Dinner Dance – Abingdon, MA

$35.00The Jeff Coombs Memorial Foundation will hold their first Caring Hearts Dinner Dance, an evening of dinner, dancing and raffles, on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 7:00pm to 11:30pm at Abingdon’s Emerald Hall.
The evening will feature a roast chicken dinner, homemade desserts, dancing to the music of DJ Sean Naughton and raffles, including a lottery scratch ticket board.
Tickets for the Caring Hearts Dinner Dance cost $35.00 each or a table of 10 costs $300.00.Tickets can be purchased here.
Funds raised will benefit the Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation, which was formed to assist families who are in financial need because of a death, illness or other situation that challenges the family budget. It also provides emotional support to families by funding special outings and fun events. The foundation also funds enrichment programs in local schools, and awards scholarships to graduating college-bound seniors and students in private high schools.
Jeffrey Coombs, father of three, computer whiz and athlete and outdoorsman, was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 while travelling for work aboard American Airlines Flight 11. He was 42.
