9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jeff Coombs Memorial Foundation Caring Hearts Dinner Dance – Abington, MA

The Jeff Coombs Memorial Foundation will host their third annual Caring Hearts Dinner Dance fundraiser at Emerald Hall in Abington, MA on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 7:00pm until 11:30pm. The evening will include a roast chicken dinner with homemade desserts; dancing to the tunes of Music’nMotion DJ Stephen Centola; raffles; and a lottery scratch ticket board drawing.
Tickets cost $35.00 each or $300 for a table of 10 if purchased by February 15, 2019. After February 15, all tickets cost $40.00. To purchase tickets, please call 781-742-5332, 617-909-5768, or 617-304-3650.
Funds raised by the dinner will be split between the Jeff Coombs Memorial Foundation and Abington’s Remillard family who lost their husband and father to cancer just before Christmas, 2018.
The Jeff Coombs Memorial Foundation was founded to honor Abington resident Jeffrey Coombs, who was killed aboard Flight 11 during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. His widow and children, through the foundation, help Massachusetts families coping with death, illness or other serious difficulties. The Foundation also awards scholarships to local young people, and supports military families.
