9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Integrative Health Approaches and Cancer Survivorship

Our friends at the Perlmutter Cancer Center invite cancer patients to learn how integrative health practices can help with stress, pain, anxiety, sleep, and overall wellness at a meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 6:00pm.

Expand your knowledge about acupuncture and massage and their potential use for symptom management. Gain skills in self-massage and mind-body techniques to expand your self-care toolbox. This event is part of the Perlmutter Cancer Center’s Cancer Survivorship Learning Series.

This one-hour free session will be led by Blossom Beason, LMT, CpmT, CMLDT, senior massage therapist at Perlmutter Cancer Center and the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders; Amanda Bontempo, MS, RD, CSO, CDN, oncology dietitian and wellness coordinator at Perlmutter Cancer Center; and Vera Sziklai, MS, RN, OCN, LAc, licensed acupuncturist and senior nurse clinician at Perlmutter Cancer Center’s Integrative Health Program.
