Swimmers also have the option of swimming 1 mile along the shores of Sleepy Hollow.

Organizers hope to raise funds for the ongoing work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raise awareness of the cleanliness and beauty of the Hudson River, and promote swimming as a lifelong form of fitness.
