9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. ‘Hometown Heroes’ Ticker Tape Parade

The mayor of NYC has established a ‘Hometown Heroes’ ticker tape parade to thank essential workers of the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11:00am. The parade will start at Battery Park, proceed up the Canyon of Heroes, ending at City Hall Park with a ceremony.
The parade will feature floats representing categories of essential workers, including healthcare workers, food bank staff and volunteers, teachers, police officers, firefighters, social workers, retail staff, utilities workers, transportation workers, religious leaders, sanitation workers, buildings and hospitality workers.
