Hold the Door Day, honoring Ronald Carl Fazio, Sr.

September 25, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The 15th annual Hold the Door Day will take place from 10:30am until 4:30pm on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary in Fort Lee, NJ.

Hold the Door Day is a free event for people learning to grow through loss or adversity. Through hands-on activities, expert speakers, and workshops, people coping with loss will learn practical skills to help them prepare for, live with, and grow through loss and adversity.

Attendees have two choices. The Growth Program is designed for people who have personally experienced loss, adversity, or crisis. Please note that this program is not meant for professionals, such as social workers or psychologists. The Helper Program is designed for people who wish to improve their support skills to help others.

Hold the Door Day honors Ronald Carl Fazio, Sr., 57, who was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. He literally held the door for others at AON, saving the lives of his colleagues while losing his own. His family started Hold the Door to use their experiences to help others dealing with loss.
