9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Hofstra Remembrance Ceremony – Hempstead, NY

Hofstra students, faculty, and staff will gather at 11:15am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and to honor the Hofstra community members and others killed that day. The remembrance ceremony will be held at the 9/11 memorial marker that bears the names of the 26 Hofstra alumni and one student who perished in 2001.
Rain location: Student Center Theater, Mack Student Center.
