9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Heartworks’ Gingerbread Open House – Basking Ridge, NJ

Heartworks’ junior members will host their annual Gingerbread Open House fundraiser on Friday, November 30, 2018, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday, December 1, 2018, from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. This fun children’s event has become an annual family tradition.
Kids come to the Heartworks house in Basking Ridge, NJ and decorate pre-assembled gingerbread houses with icing and candy. Volunteers from Heartworks do the cleaning up. You can also buy a gingerbread house kit to take home.

Heartworks is a charity created by the family of John William Farrell in gratitude for the kindnesses shown to them after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. John William Farrell, 41, worked for Sandler O’Neill in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center and was killed in the attack.
