9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Heartworks’ Gingerbread Open House

Hosted by Heartworks’ Junior Heartworkers, the Heartworks’ Gingerbread Open House fundraiser has become an annual family tradition with all proceeds going towards Junior Heartworks’ programming throughout the year.
For a donation of $25.00, children are welcome to come to the Heartworks House in Basking Ridge, NJ and decorate pre-assembled gingerbread houses with icing and candy on either Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm or on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. Heartworks is a charity created by the family of John William Farrell in gratitude for the kindnesses shown to them after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. John William Farrell, 41, worked for Sandler O’Neill in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center, and was killed in the attack.
