9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Hannaford Swim Challenge
July 15, 2018
The Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation will present their 13th annual Hannaford Swim Challenge on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Bernardsville Municipal Pool. Swimmers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Participants will swim “from Bernardsville NJ to the World Trade Center” without the travel by swimming roughly 80 miles.
The cost to participate is $30.00 per person before June 30, 2018, and $40.00 per person after June 30, 2018. Pre-registration is preferred, though not required. Please note that only a limited number of t-shirts will be available. To register for the event, please click here.
Proceeds raised will benefit the Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation, which helps children who have lost a parent pursue educational opportunities.
Kevin J. Hannaford, Sr. Foundation was a devoted father who loved swimming at the Somerset Hills YMCA. Mr. Hannaford was killed in the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
