9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for retired FDNY Battalion Chief Thomas Murray, Battalion 14

Retired FDNY Battalion Chief Thomas Murray, 89, of Battalion 14, died on January 16, 2022. Chief Murray dedicated 40 years to the FDNY and was known as “Father Tom” amongst his peers.
His funeral Mass will take place at St. Catharine of Alexandria in Blauvelt at 10:00am on Friday, January 21, 2022.
