9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for Raymond R. Thielke

Raymond R. Thielke, 58, of Canastota, died on September 1, 2018.
He worked for Emergency Management Services in New York City as an EMT, becoming a paramedic and lieutenant, and worked at the World Trade Center recovery effort after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Ray worked for NYS Dept. of Health, as an EMS Senior Representative in NYC and later in Syracuse.
The funeral will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at New Beginnings Community Church in Wampsville, NY, with a reception to follow. Burial will be private.
Donations can be made in his honor to either theĀ Greater Lenox Ambulance Service (GLAS), PO Box 382, Canastota, NY 13032, or to Voices of September 11th, 80 Main Street, Suite 5, New Canaan, CT 06840. Envelopes will be available at the church.
