9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for PAPD Officer Anthony Varvaro

Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Varvaro was killed in a car crash while en route to work at the 9/11 Memorial on September 11, 2022.
He was a major league baseball pitcher for six years before joining the PAPD in 2016.
The funeral will take place at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Staten Island at 10:30am on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
