9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Funeral for John Sorrentino, lower Manhattan pizzeria owner, who helped people escaping the Towers on 9/11

John Sorrentino has died at age 73.
On September 11, 2001, his Maiden Lane pizzeria became a place where people could get water, food, and shelter from the nearby terrorist attacks.
His funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at St. Teresa’s R.C. Church on Staten Island at 10:45am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Pleasant Plains, Staten Island.
