Funeral for FDNY EMS Lt. Sean Patrick Mahoney

FDNY EMS Lt. Sean Patrick Mahoney died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. He was 42.
A 17-year FDNY EMS veteran, Sean made Lieutenant in early 2022, and served as an instructor at the NYC Fire Department EMS Bureau of Training.
His wake will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home in Monroe, NY.
Lt. Mahoney’s funeral will take place at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home in Monroe, NY at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lt. Sean P. Mahoney Children’s Scholarship Fund. Donations can be mailed to The FDNY Foundation, 9 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 or made online here.
