9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Free suicide prevention workshop for NYPD

On Monday, September 30, 2013 & Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 8:30am – 4:30pm, Police Organization Providing Peer Assistance (aka POPPA) will be offering a free two-day, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop to help prevent suicides in the NYPD.
The free workshop is for NYPD police officers and their families.
Currently the rate of suicide among police officers is at least twice that of the general population.
