9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. FreeThere will be a free screening of The Second Day at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the New York State Museum.
The Second Day is a film made from a child’s viewpoint by a boy who was attending his second day of kindergarten near the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
This film interviews young people and teachers who lived through that terrible day.
