9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Free presentation on PTSD – Stamford, CT

On Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 7:30pm, Susan Marcus, a founding member and volunteer for the Fairfield County Trauma Recovery Network, will give a free presentation on trauma and PTSD at the Tully Health Center. She will speak about identifying, understanding, coping with, and treating PTSD and other responses to trauma.

Often misunderstood, PTSD can be challenging to treat and devastating to live with. Susan Marcus will discuss diagnosis and treatment approaches for those suffering the effects of trauma, as well as strategies and resources for their loved ones.
This event is hosted by the Southwest CT affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), NAMI is a national, grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with mental illness and their families.
