Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Free legal clinic for applying to 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund (Zadroga) NYC

On Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm, the New York City Bar Justice Center is offering a free legal clinic for individuals needing assistance in filing claims under the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF). Clinics will be facilitated by volunteer lawyers who will provide free counsel and advice to people who would like to file a claim under the VCF without an attorney. Attendees will be able to meet with an attorney who will provide information on the eligibility process and assist in filling out the application form.
