Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Free disaster preparedness sessions – Jersey City, NJ

In honor of the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 2001, Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health will help to prepare the community for possible disasters and emergency situations.
The free sessions at JCMC will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 1:30pm to 2:30pm and 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The American College of Emergency, local EMTs and emergency medical staff will discuss ways how to handle emergency situations and suggest tools to keep in the event of an emergency.
