9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Flight 93 Speaker Series – Police Officers Louis Veitz and Stacy Schmitt and John Weir

State Police Officers Louis Veitz and Stacy Schmitt and John Weir will be the guests for the Flight 93 Speaker Series at 1:00pm and 3:00pm on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the Learning Center next to the Flight 93 National Memorial Visitor Center.
The three were among the first people to arrive after the crash of hijacked Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. Each one will share perspectives of that day.
At the time of the terrorist attacks, John Weir was an executive with PBS Coal, the owner of a portion of the crash site.
The moderator will be Tom McMillan, a member of the board of directors of the Friends of Flight 93 and author of Flight 93: The Story, the Aftermath and the Legacy of the American Courage on 9/11.
The event is free and open to the public.
