Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Flight 93 National Memorial September 11 Observance – Stoystown, PA

The Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown, Pennsylvania will hold their annual September 11th Observance at 9:45am on Friday, September 11, 2015 to mark the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

At 10:03am –- the moment United Flight 93 went down in Stoystown– the names of the 40 crew members and passengers of Flight 93 will be read. The Bells of Remembrance will ring in their honor.

The speakers will be Gordon Felt, who lost his brother, Edward Felt, in the attacks, and Jim Miklaszewski of NBC News, who reported from the Pentagon during the attacks.

The public is welcome to attend. The Memorial will open at 7:00am. Please arrive early to allow time for the shuttle ride from the parking area to the visitor center. Only limited seating will be available for the approximately hour-long ceremony. Those attending the ceremony may bring their own chairs. Please not that backpacks and large bags are not permitted.
