9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Flight 93 Memorial Observance – Stoystown, PA

The Eighteenth Observance of September 11, 2001, will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 9:45am at the Flight 93 Memorial Plaza in honor of the 40 passengers and crew members of Flight 93.
Entrance to the memorial will close at sunset on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, and will reopen at 6:00am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Shuttles will begin running at 6:15am.
The public is invited to attend the observance (the Flight 93 Memorial is the only one of the attack sites to permit the public to attend their anniversary ceremonies). Please arrive no later than 8:30am to ensure that you have enough time to park, take the shuttle to the event site and go through security. No umbrellas or large backpacks will be allowed through security.
Public seating is available.
This year’s guest speaker will be Vice President Pence.
Please note that the Friends of Flight 93 National Memorial will not be holding the annual September 10 Luminaria Ceremony this year. The Luminaria Ceremony will continue on the twentieth anniversary in September 2021.
