9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Flight 93 Memorial Observance

The annual September 11 Memorial Observance at the crash site of United Flight 93 will be held at 9:30am on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Memorial Plaza in Stoystown, PA.
At the moment Flight 93 struck the ground, 10:03am, the reading of the names of the passengers and crew will begin. Also at that time, crew members of the USS Somerset will ring the Bells of Remembrance. A wreath will be laid at the Wall of Names.
USS Somerset, which will be commissioned by the US Navy on March 1, 2014, is the ship named in honor of the flight crew and passengers of United Flight 93. The ship’s commanding officer, Capt. Thomas Dearborn, will attend the memorial observance.
The Memorial will be open at 7:00am on September 11th. The ceremony is open to the public. No tickets are required. Family members of victims and other attendees are requested to arrive no later than 8:30am for security purposes. Backpacks and large bags are not permitted on the Memorial.
There will be no available seating for the hour-long ceremony, so the bringing of chairs is permitted.
