Flight 93 Edward Felt Community Run/Walk Challenge
April 9, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The first annual Flight 93 Edward Felt Community Run/Walk Challenge will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 10:00am until noon at the Clinton High School Track and Field Stadium off Elm Street in Clinton, NY.
After the run, there will be a remembrance ceremony at the Edward Porter Felt Flight 93 September 11th Memorial near the Clinton Foundation Memorial Brick Garden along Chenango Avenue.
There is a suggested donation of $20.00 per person with a $50.00 maximum per family. Monies raised by the event will support the annual scholarship given in honor of Edward Felt, who was a passenger aboard United Flight 93 when terrorists attacked the plane on September 11, 2001. Edward and his fellow passengers and crew fought back against the hijackers and brought the plane down in a field in Shanksville, PA, ensuring that the plane hurt no one on the ground. The scholarship in honor of Ed was first given in 2021. Funds raised by this event will support the scholarship so that it can continue.
