9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. On Friday, April 18, 2014 at 9:15pm, there will be fireworks at the Liberty Island Federal Anchorage. These fireworks will be audible in Lower Manhattan. Please warn Lower Manhattan residents and workers who may find the sound to be a distressing reminder of the terrorist attacks.
