9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Firefighter Chris Engeldrum/Police Officer James McNaughton Charity Rugby Match

The NYPD Finest Rugby team will play the FDNY Bravest Rugby team on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 4:00pm in the annual Firefighter Chris Engeldrum/Police Officer James McNaughton Charity Match at Gaelic Park in the Bronx.
Major League Rugby’s new franchise Rugby United New York will play Mystic River RFC after the charity match.
Tickets cost $30.00 and include entertainment. A portion of the day’s proceeds will benefit the FDNY, the NYPD and veterans’ groups. Tickets can be purchased here.
NYPD Police Officer James McNaughton was killed on August 2, 2005 by a sniper while training Iraqi police during his U.S. Army service. He was a staff sergeant, only 25 and the first NYPD officer to be killed in the war on terror.
FF Chris Engeldrum was killed in the line of duty while serving as a sergeant in the U.S. Army when his vehicle hit an IED on November 29, 2004. He was 39.
